My dream purse is a Chanel. I love fashion as much as I love to travel. Being unique makes me beautiful!

Welcome and thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Gretchen, writer of Tokyo to Paris inspired. I am Pilipino. I moved here with my parents and brother from Manila, Philippines in 1995! I am a nurse with a passion for elegant clothes and shoes. When I am not in my scrubs, I love being fashionable! I chose the title “Tokyo to Paris inspired” to depict my love for fashion and travel.

If I had the privilege of flying all over the world, I would choose to fly to Tokyo and Paris! Tokyo and Paris are two of my favorite fashion capitals. Travelling to Tokyo was quite a fashion adventure in terms of being able to see the unique way clothes were designed, worn and the latest trends in Japan. Some of my favorite shopping places in Japan are Ginza district, Shinjuku and the local shopping mall called Aeon. Tokyo fashion never ceases to amaze me.

On 2014, I finally got to visit the city of lights, Paris! I love Paris for its simple yet sophisticated and classic fashion. Paris is home to many of my favorite designers from Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel….oh la la! Sometimes, I still cannot believe that I have visited the Eiffel tower and walked down the famous Champs-Elysees! From sweet macarons, the grand beautiful Eiffel tower to elegant clothes, purses, shoes…Paris is my fashion avenue!

I hope to visit Tokyo & Paris again someday! In the meantime, whether you are just looking for new fashion tips or undecided on what to wear, I hope my blog will be inspiring to all fashionistas and your everyday fashion endeavors!

Your fashion journalist,

Gretchen
